Group therapy is a formal group session that offers benefits beyond informal self-help and support groups. Group therapy sessions are led by a counselor with specialized training, who teaches group members proven strategies for managing specific problems.
Unlike traditional therapy sessions, which are often more individualized, group therapy includes more than one individual and takes a more educational approach. Groups will participate in interactive discussions and activities. Participants gain practical strategies and concepts that they can apply in their own lives, often alongside reflection exercises and group support to enhance their personal development.
Attending every session is essential to gain all the insight necessary. For participants to gain the most benefit and maintain group cohesion we ask that you commit and plan to attend all 8 sessions.
Each session builds on the previous one, creating a structured path for understanding and growth.
Missing a session could disrupt the learning process. Consistent attendance fosters trust among group members. This creates a safe and supportive environment for open sharing. The 8 sessions are designed to be comprehensive. Missing sessions means missing critical discussions and activities that contribute to overall insight.
The total cost for all 8 sessions is $200.
